Statue of James Zachariah George that is part of the National Statuary Hall Collection in the United States Capitol in Washington, DC on Thursday, August 31, 2017. The statue of Colonel George was given to the Collection by the State of Mississippi in 1931. The collection is comprised of 100 statues, two from each state. Of those, twelve depict Confederate leaders. The statues have become controversial and there have been calls for their removal from the US Capitol. RON SACHS/CNP/PI
